Sustainability meets employee motivation: Salzburg University of Applied Sciences is setting a strong example for climate-friendly mobility with the KlimaTicket Salzburg as a job ticket – and has now been awarded the ‘Job Ticket Champion’ award by the Salzburg Transport Association. Around 150 university employees already use the job ticket every day to get to work – and also in their free time.
With the KlimaTicket Salzburg as a job ticket, many companies and institutions enable their employees to use climate-friendly mobility for their commute and leisure time. Fachhochschule GmbH is making an important contribution to sustainable mobility and is the fifth winner of the ‘Jobticket Champion’ public transport award.
Verena Mitteregger-Rieder, Head of Human Resources & Legal Affairs, accepted the award at a ceremony on 9 October 2025: "We are delighted to receive this award. It shows that we are on the right track with our commitment to sustainable and employee-oriented solutions. The Jobticket is a win for our employees – and an important step towards a more environmentally conscious future."
